Hidden within our ancient woodland, The Toad Hideout is a truly unique North Wales glamping cabin, handcrafted from a striking timber frame and clad in our own home-grown larch. Designed to immerse you in nature while still offering plenty of home comforts, large viewing windows frame the surrounding woodland, while the warm ash-timber interior features a well-equipped off-grid kitchen, wood burner, double bed, sofa bed, breakfast bar, window seat and fully fitted bathroom with hot shower and compost loo. A living roof allows the cabin to blend seamlessly into its woodland surroundings.

The adventure continues outdoors, where a dramatic double-height timber structure rises into the canopy. From the upper balcony, a sculptural rope bridge, playfully inspired by a toad's tongue, leads to an elevated fire-pit lounge nestled among the trees. Surrounded by seating and glowing like fireflies at dusk, this magical space offers breathtaking woodland views. Below, a sheltered, waterproof dining and relaxation area provides a comfortable place to enjoy the woodland in all seasons.

With a peaceful garden area, luxurious outdoor seating and birdsong all around, The Toad Hideout offers a one-of-a-kind woodland retreat, perfect for slowing down, reconnecting and escaping into nature.

Campsite Rules

  1. Campfires are welcome at Tree Tops and Train Tracks but only in the designated areas.
  2. We have 18 acres of woodland to explore but please stick to the clear boundary lines.
  3. Earliest check in is 3.30pm unless you have upgraded to early check in which is 2pm
  4. Latest check out is 10.30am unless you have upgraded to late check out at 12pm
  5. Quiet hours are from 10pm till 8am as its a family friendly site
  6. Guests should keep their pitch clean and tidy at all times
  7. The site and reception will be open from 8am to 9pm and closed over night
  8. All access to the campsite should remain free at all times.
  9. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on site bar the designated area in the car park
  10. BBQs and fires are welcome but must only be used in the designated firepit areas. Fires and BBQs are not permitted on individual camping pitches.
